Dogwood Forest of Grayson groundbreaking held on Jan.14 in Grayson, Ga.
Assisted Living management company, Trinity Life, Grayson City officials, and development partners gathered on January 14 for a groundbreaking ceremony for Dogwood Forest of Grayson, a new assisted living community. Trinity Life along with partners Solomon Development Services, Grayson’s city mayor, Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, and others all spoke about the new community’s impact on the area and to perform the ceremonial dig. Prayer lead by Senior Pastor Steve Hammock and Minister of Senior Adult Ministry, John Hadley from Anchor Church closed out the ceremony.
The $26 million, 101,000-square-foot community will specialize in assisted living, memory care and adult day services. The community will have 99 units composed of 74 assisted living units and 25 memory care units. Available amenities will include a theatre, wellness center, community gardens, outdoor gaming courts, bistros, walking trails, and other features. Consistent with the Dogwood Forest brand’s focus on wellness, the Grayson community will be designed with a host of wellness protocols including UV lighting in the HVAC system to kill viruses as well as a negative ion system to kill odor causing bacteria and to lift and enhance moods. The community is scheduled to open spring 2017.
