ACWORTH, Ga.- (June 17, 2013) - With construction for Dogwood Forest of Acworth Assisted Living underway, Trinity Lifestyles management, the company that will manage the property, today announced the opening of the Dogwood Forest leasing office in its first step to fill the community by its opening next spring. Trinity will host the ribbon cutting ceremony for the leasing office followed by a reception with Acworth City mayor and city officials on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. The event is open to the public. The new office is located at 4500 South Main St. Suite 101 Acworth, Ga. 30101 and is directly across from the Dogwood Forest construction site.
Trinity Lifestyles has already begun assembling the management team for the new property with the recent hiring of long time Acworth resident and experienced senior living director, Nicolle Williams, as the new executive director for Dogwood Forest of Acworth. “I’m excited to offer my expertise in senior living to Trinity and the Acworth community,” said Williams. “We are happy to be accepting deposits for this property now, connect with Acworth citizens at the new office and answer any questions they may have about Dogwood Forest.”
There has been great support for the project from Acworth residents and the city, according to Trinity. “We are happy Mayor Allegood and the community are excited about the project,” said Vicki Curl, president of asset management for Trinity. “We already feel as if we are part of the Acworth community.”
Construction for Dogwood Forest of Acworth began in February. The three story 87,000-square-foot facility will feature 48 specialized memory care suites dedicated to residents with various stages of dementia and Alzheimer’s. The community will also feature an assisted living neighborhood and a new neighborhood concept called catered living for those who may be more independent. The community will have 93 total units at completion of the project. Dogwood Forest is scheduled to open April 2014.
